An island shaped by water
In Bali, water connects waterfalls, terraced rice fields, and tropical vegetation. Around Ubud, trails lead from temples to undergrowth, while wet stone, pools, and foliage give the landscape an almost continuous depth.
From deep green to the setting sun
From Munduk to Lombok, and then to Gili Air, the journey gradually opens up. Cultivated reliefs give way to beaches, evening silhouettes, and the softer colors of the horizon.
These ten photographs focus on transitions: water and land, jungle and rice fields, dense shadow and the last light over the sea.
